Musk Builders WHS Induction
Anyone who carries out construction work at Musk Builders must complete general construction induction (White Card) training to receive a general construction induction training card, commonly called the ‘White Card’. While the White Card program helps you understand the basics of work health & safety from an industry perspective, we have established our own program to familiarise you with how we seek to manage safety at Musk Builders.
This training provides people new to Musk Builders with a basic knowledge of work health and safety requirements here at Musk Builders.
Course Overview
This course will provide participants with the knowledge, training and skills to effectively work safely in and around Musk Builder’s Construction Workplaces. The training will detail how to take appropriate safety precautions and how to respond appropriately in an emergency.
This course is for people who are going to be working at Musk Builders Construction Workplaces.

- Work health & safety legislation
- Our Safety Non-Negotiables
- An overview of our work health & safety system
- Reporting incidents and hazards
- Workplace Hazards

- Caring for the environment
Course Inclusions
- Our online course was built from the ground up by industry experts. It is designed to be easy to use, easy to understand and works on multiple devices and platforms.
- Our course is heavily written materials based. Some videos are compulsory as a component of this program.
Each Trainee Must Provide
Participants must:
- Have at least a Year 10 level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills
- Have the ability to read, hear and write English
- Have a sound level of computer skills to navigate through the e-Learning course
- Have a device capable of playing audio in order to listen to the course content
Silica Awareness
This is a non-accredited training course. Participants who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Safetysure.
Course Duration
- 100% Online
- Do the training online at your own pace when it suits you
- Participants usually finish in 45 minutes
Course Overview
Musk Builders’ online Silica Safety Awareness course will teach participants what silica is, its health effects, where it may be found in the workplace, and methods to assist workers to work safely with silica.
Course Outline
- What is silica?
- Basic health hazards associated with exposure to silica and respirable crystalline silica dust
- Common products containing silica
- Common tasks that could result in an exposure
- Typical control measures that may be implemented to protect workers from exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust including engineering controls, work practices and personal protective equipment
Prerequisites
Participants must:
- Have at least a Year 10 level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills
- Have the ability to read and write English
- Contact us if you have any concerns about your level of language literacy or numeracy
For online training, participants must:
- Use a device that meets the minimum System Requirements of Safetysure’s e-Learning system (we officially support and recommend modern desktop or laptop computers running Google Chrome web browser). Other personal devices (e.g. phones and tablets) may be compatible, but due to the variety available, we do not officially support these devices.
- Have a stable internet connection.
- Use a device that can play sound.
J&D Contracting WHS Induction
